Hurricanes win twice this past weekend in physical affair

The Hurricanes sweep the weekend again! On Friday, October 24th, The Hurricanes put the β€œBattle” into the β€œBattle Of Yonge St.” in Aurora vs the Tigers. The game was highlighted by several fights, and multi-point nights for 4 different Hurricanes players. Newmarket played a physical brand against the Tigers that led to a 6 – 4 win and their first 2 points of the weekend.

On Saturday, October 25th, the Hurricanes returned home to take on the Georgetown Raiders. The team looked to keep the wins rolling and led by rookie forward Reggie Taylor who scored twice to help the Hurricanes to game 2 of the weekend 6 – 3.Β Β With the win, the team now sits in third place in the Eastern Conference with winners of five straight games!

The Hurricanes will try to keep the streak going, as they take on the Haliburton County Huskies tomorrow Tuesday, October 28th, at home.Β Β This Tuesday game marks the return of Toonie Tuesday where jumbo hot dogs and popcorn are just $2.
